In another win for the Pakistani small screen, the 2018 hit rom-com Romeo Weds Heer is now available to watch on Amazon Prime.

Produced by Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi, the drama serial managed to break records with its ratings and became a chart-buster when it aired. It also reunited leading duo Feroze Khan and Sana Javed after they previously worked together on Khaani, which also made it to Netflix last year.

Romeo Weds Heer revolves around two lovers as they face life, love and some hilarious set-backs with their shenanigans. The lighthearted story was a breath of fresh air that kept audiences hooked.

Pakistani dramas are already massively popular online, gaining millions of views per episode within hours on Youtube. As they head to international streaming platforms, that market for Pakistani content is sure to grow.
