'Plan ready to maintain stability in prices during Ramazan'

A plan had been prepared to maintain stability in the prices during Ramazan-ul-Mubarak across the province and provision of essential items at fixed rates would be ensured, said Punjab Industries and Trade Minister Mian Aslam Iqbal.

He expressed these views while chairing a meeting of the Task Force for Price Control meeting, held here on Tuesday to review the availability of essential items during Ramazan-ul-Mubarak and monitoring mechanism of its prices.

The minister said that hoarders and profiteers would be dealt with an iron hand. He said those committing cruelty on the masses through price-hike did not deserve any leniency, as such elements were enemies of humanity and their place was behind the bars.
