Futures spread up by 567bps

The futures spread increased by 567bps to 16.70 percent on the last day of the outgoing week.

Trading activities on the futures counter remained thin as average daily volumes decreased by 16.2 percent to 38.91 million shares as compared to previous week's average of 46.45 million shares.

Average daily trading value on the futures counter declined by 20.2 percent and stood at Rs 1.71 billion during this week.
