No talk of relief for small businesses: analyst

Economic and Financial Analyst, Ateeq Ur Rehman has expressed his concern that everyone is talking about industries and big businesses but hardly one can hear relief for small businesses.

He was of the view that the assistance to SMEs and small businessmen is not simplified in the Temporary Refinance Scheme for Payment of Wages & Salaries to the Workers and Employees of Business Concern and needs further clarification, it says that it has been designed to benefit SMEs but on the contrary businesses with 3 months wages and salaries expenses up to Rs200 million (20 Crore) will be able to avail the full amount of their expenses through this Scheme.

If entity is paying Rs20 Crore Wages & Salaries in 3 months is SME.
