The Lahore High Court on Tuesday directed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) not to harass petitioner Shaukat Basra a leader of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf while holding an inquiry against him. The court also directed a NAB prosecutor to submit reply to the petition within a week.

Counsel of Basra contended that the NAB had been holding an inquiry into his assets and issuing him call-up notices.

He said the petitioner had been cooperating with the investigators fully but there was an apprehension that the bureau could arrest him.
