Sindh Agriculture Minister Muhammad Ismail Rahoo on Thursday assured his full support to the leader ship of All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA) in their efforts of increasing the cotton production in the country.

He expressed these views during a meeting with APTMA Punjab President Adil Bashir at the association's head office. He said introducing modern farming techniques was the need of the hour to get better yield of the cotton crop. He said the Sindh government is seeking support from the international experts in order to train farmers. The government is also seeking help for introducing new technologies in farming which will be helpful in increasing the production of cotton.

Rahoo briefed the APTMA leadership on Sindh government's efforts for controlling the crops from the attack of locusts. He further said that the Sindh government is also working on introducing quality insecticides. Earlier, while addressing the press conference along with Ismail Rahoo, APTMA Punjab President Adil Bashir thanked the government of Sindh for extending their support to APTMA's effort for increasing cotton production of the country.
