Faisalabad to be made clean & green under PM's vision: DC

Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali said that the Faisalabad City would be made clean & green by achieving the target of Clean & Green Pakistan Index under the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and concerned departments have been mobilised in this regard.

Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali said that the Faisalabad City would be made clean & green by achieving the target of Clean & Green Pakistan Index under the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and concerned departments have been mobilised in this regard.

He stated this while planting sapling at Sports Complex GM Abad. SSP Operation Syed Ali Raza, AC HQ Syed Ayub Bukhari and other officers were also present. Deputy Commissioner appreciated the cooperation of the industrialists and civil society in tree plantation and said that maximum tree plantation was vital for environmental protection and district administrations would leave no stone upturned to control the environmental protection in the district through different preventative measures including tree plantation.

He said that clean and green programme was the visionary step of Prime Minister Imran Khan and ten billion trees campaign would help to resolve the issues of environment pollution. He appreciate that every segment of the society was participating in tree plantation.

Earlier, Deputy Commissioner also held an open court in the complex and listened to the complaints of public. He directed the officers of different departments that they should remain present in their offices to resolve the public issues. He said that open courts are being held at the populous areas of the city besides at district and tehsil level so that the complaints of public are resolved at their door step. SSP Operations also heard the police related applications and order the concerned officers to resolve the complaints on priority basics.
