A division bench of the Lahore High Court will proceed with an application of Maryam Nawaz on December 26 (today) along with main petition seeking removal of her name from the Exit Control List (ECL) and to go London to look after her ailing father former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.

The bench comprises Justice Ali Baqar Najafi and Justice Anwarul Haq Pannun.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has opposed to allow her to go London to look after her ailing father.

The NAB pleaded that other family members were already in London to look after her father.

Maryam Nawaz had surrendered her passport with the court against bail granted to her in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.

The NAB in its reply to the petition also opposed to return of passport to her.

The NAB said an appeal by Maryam against sentence in a reference was fixed before the Islamabad High Court for next month and her personal appearance was necessary.
