MQM-P assures full support to Musharraf

Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) on Wednesday assured former President General Pervez Musharraf (Retired) of its full support after a special court handed him death penalty in high treason case.

The party extended the assurance to former president when a delegation of party comprised of Mayor Karachi and Deputy Convener of MQM-P Wasim Akhtar and member of Coordination Committee of the party Haider Abbas Rizvi met him in Dubai, a statement of the party said.

The MQM-P leaders deplored the verdict against former president by a special court and assured him of full support. The party delegations also apprised him about the party's resolve to go to any extent against the decision. Former president thanked the leadership of MQM-P. Delegation also prayed the early recovery of Pervez Musharraf.
