Power supply to industry: Nepra chief assures affordable price

Chairman National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) Tauseef H Farooqi has assured power supply to the industry on affordable price.

He was talking to media after inaugurating a 40MW transformer at the Sundar Industrial Estate on Friday. He also held a meeting with the Board of Directors of Punjab Industrial Estates Development & Management Co (PIEDMC) and Sundar Industrial Estate on the occasion.

He said power supply plays a vital role in poverty alleviation and job creation and launch of 40MW transformer would provide jobs to 15000 workers at Sundar.

Chairman PIEDMC Syed Nabeel Hashmi lauded the vision of Prime Minister of Pakistan towardsresolving the issues of industry.
