CSR Activist for Thalassemia Eradication from Pakistan, Ateeq Ur Rehman has urged Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah to introduce "Sehat Insaf Sahulat Card" on urgent basis for special persons and Thalassemia patients.

He appreciated Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar's special provision for free treatment of 30,000 registered Thalassemic (majors) by upgrading Sehat Insaf Sahulat Card.

Talking to Business Recorder, Ateeq recommended that Sehat Insaf Sahulat Card is extremely encouraging where health insurance scheme for the poor is also offered.

Ateeq said universal health coverage is the part of the sustainable development goal and is a right of every human being to be covered under health insurance. It is not easy to sustain life of a Thalassemic child, apart from availing the health services available by personal resources.
