On the direction of Punjab Minister for Health Dr Yasmin Rashid, emergency has been declared in government hospitals of Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan Districts; to ensure provision of best healthcare facilities to the injured of Tezgam Express incident. Expressing a deep sense of sorrow and grief over the loss of precious human lives due to the said incident, the minister directed the CEOs (health) of Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan Districts to personally monitor healthcare facilities being provided to the injured.
She further directed to display list of injured and deceased persons in these hospitals to facilitate their heirs. Moreover, Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) President Ch Shujat Hussain, Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Parvez Elahi and MNA Moonis Elahi have expressed their heartfelt deep sorrow and grief over train burning tragedy in Liaquatpur.
They said in their condolence message that they equally share the sorrow and grief of inheritors of those have perished and injured in the tragedy, may Allah bless the injured with early recovery and souls of deceased ones with eternal rest and grant solace and patience to their bereaved families.
