KARACHI: Shipping activity remained active at the Port Qasim during last 24 hours, where two ships carrying diesel oil and edible oil were allotted berth at FOTCO Terminal and LCT Terminal on Thursday. A PQA statement here said.
Meanwhile three more ships scheduled to load/offload containers, sunflower seeds and edible oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
Berth occupancy was 25% at the Port Qasim on Friday where total number of three ships namely MV. Elicia, MV. Al Salam II and Bold World are currently occupying berths to load/offload cement, diesel oil and edible oil respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 55,975 tonnes, comprising 54,945 tonnes Imports and 1,030 tonnes exports was handle at the Port Qasim during last 24 hours.
