Wasim Akram, wife Shaniera to reportedly make acting debut with Fawad Khan

After proving his mettle in sports, Pakistani cricketer Wasim Akram is planning to try his luck in acting. The sports star has reportedly signed a film titled ‘Money Back Guarantee’ starring actor Fawad Khan in the lead role.

According to sources, Wasim has signed on ad filmmaker and sitcom director Faisal Qureshi’s debut feature, titled ‘Money Back Guarantee’, Gulf News reported. Both Faisal and Wasim have previously worked together on a number of TV commercials,

Faisal has also reportedly roped in heartthrob Fawad to play the main lead, while actor Mikaal Zulfiqar has also been cast in a pivotal role. Reportedly, Wasim’s wife Shaniera Akram will also make her debut in Pakistan film industry in the same project.

While we wait for the official announcement from the ‘King of Swing’, the movie will go on floor in November this year.
