The much anticipated first episode of Coke Studio season 12 is out, featuring Atif Aslam reciting a rendition of popular hamd 'Wohi Khuda Hai'.

Ever since the teaser was released few days back, fans had been waiting for Atif’s performance in the brand new season of Coke Studio, produced by Rohail Hyatt, who has returned to the show after five long years.

The lyrics of the hamd ‘Wohi Khuda Hai’, penned by Muzaffar Warsi, reflect the praises of God as the omnipotence, who maintains the balance and harmony in the universe. Atif has done quite justice to the national favourite hamd, which was previously sung by the iconic Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan.

Atif’s melodious and subtle take on the track brought back many memories of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, who made it popular with his voice. It was adored by many across the globe.
