(Karachi) Muttahida Qaumi Movement Leader Altaf Hussain has been arrested and charged in hate speech case after his bail expired in the case on Thursday.

Hussain reached the Southwark Police Station where the police detained and officially charged him. Local police said Hussain has been charged under the Terrorism Act.

A case was registered against the MQM chief after he delivered hate speeches to his followers in Pakistan. The London police interrogated Hussain and later released him after he secured bail from the local court.

Altaf Hussain faced criticism from the people for his awry acts during his speeches.
