In a leaked video, Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat had refused to speak on the turbulent Kashmir issue, which has now landed her in trouble.
In a video that has gone viral, a reporter made multiple attempts to ask Hayat to comment on the Kashmir issue, but she refuse to pass any comment and said she is not allowed to talk about Kashmir.

Her statement has triggered endless criticism on social media.
Hayat has also issued a clarification on Twitter saying that her words have been taken completely out of the context. According to the actress, she was at a charity event and was requested by the PR to not be political so as not to divert the attention from the cause.
She also said that she has always been vocal about Kashmir issue on national and international platform and will continue to do that.
