NAIROBI: The Kenyan shilling was firm against the dollar on Friday with inflows from portfolio investors buying government debt helping subdue dollar demand from oil and merchandise importers, traders said.
At 0800 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 103.10/30 per dollar, compared with 103.20/40 at Thursday's close.
