Liam Hemsworth, Miley Cyrus split gets messier with cheating, drug charges
When news broke over the weekend of Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth’s breakup, the respectful silence followed by decent statements coming from both seemed to indicate a peaceful approach to ending their relationship. However, according to latest reports there’s a lot more behind their split.
TMZ reported that 26-year-old Cyrus battled to save her seven-month marriage with Hemsworth, but struggled to accept his heavy drinking and use of certain drugs.
However, an insider from Hemsworth's side said that the drug allegations are nonsense and that it was Cyrus' infidelity that ended their romance.
At the same time, things aren't ‘officially’ over by any means. “Miley has not been talking to an attorney or thinking about divorce,” a source told EOnline. “She wanted the marriage to work and is still willing to give it time. But going through this in the public eye has made things a lot messier and a lot more difficult. She doesn't really know what to do or what will happen next”.
On the other hand, an intimate holiday pictures of Cyrus locking lips with Kaitlynn Carter has been doing rounds. The two appear to be on vacation together with friends, and Cyrus has even appeared in Carter's Instagram posts, which could be enough prove to spark dating rumors.
