#FawadAlamExposed trends on Twitter as fans demand his inclusion in team

Pakistan middle order batsman Fawad Alam is probably one of the few cricketers who, despite having a pretty limited international exposure, enjoys following of a massive star.

This was the case today too after hundreds of fans came to social media setting up the #FawadAlamExposed trend, demanding Fawad’s inclusion in the national team. Fans argued that the batsman, despite being a consistent performer, has fallen victim to the internal politics of Pakistan Cricket Board.

Despite being one of the run makers in domestic circuit, Fawad remains unsuccessful to impress the selectors to make into the national side.

The trend comes amidst the controversy surrounding Pakistan opening batsman Imamul Haq, who was accused by an anonymous user a day earlier on Twitter for being involved with multiple girls and cheating. His alleged private chats also got leaked and viral on social media.
