World Cup: Its Pakistan versus India, can the jinx be broken

The ICC World Cup 2019 biggest match would take place today on Sunday, as the cricketing world most celebrated rivals Pakistan and India clash at the Old Trafford.

The Men in Green had never beaten their arch rivals in the tournament, however, with only one win in their four matches of the tournament every game for Sarfaraz’s side is a must win as they lock horns with Virat Kohli’s men, that are yet to lose a game in the tournament.

For Pakistan pace spearhead Mohammad Amir would be their go to man, the speedster who has got his act together just at the right time would be crucial in picking up key Indian wickets, that are seated right at the top.

Pakistani fans would be rooting for Amir to display the famous Champions Trophy finale performance against the archrivals.

“We have not put a perfect game together while the dressing room is very confident,” said Pakistan head coach Mickey Arthur.

Meanwhile, the batting line would need to be aggressive against the rising Indian bowling line, and should especially be careful when dealing with Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who has the knack of picking up wickets at crucial points.

Sarfaraz Ahmed’s men should also be at their toes in the fielding department, which arguably has been their biggest weakness in the tournament, the players cannot afford any drop catches and sloppy fielding if they want to continue their World Cup run.

The match is scheduled to begin at 2:30pm PST, whereas more than one billion people are expected to watch the match on television.
