London: European stock markets climbed at the open on Wednesday, building on the previous session's strong gains.
London's benchmark FTSE 100 index gained 0.3 percent to 7,259.53 points compared with the close on Tuesday.
In the eurozone, Frankfurt's DAX 30 won 0.2 percent to 12,018.45 points and the Paris CAC 40 advanced 0.1 percent to 5,348.34.
