Kangana Ranaut to have 'dramatic' red carpet look at Cannes 2019

Bollywood bold actress Kangana Ranaut will walk this year’s infamous Cannes 2019 red carpet which is taking place from May 14 to May 25. She recently reveals that her red carpet attire will have a drama as well as will represent rich Indian culture.

The actress will represent an alcohol brand ‘Grey Goose’ at the event. She reveals that her clothes will reflect the theme ‘Live Victoriously’. “The clothes I wear will have drama. At the same time, as an Indian actor, I have the responsibility of endorsing our weavers, and wearing outfits that reflect our rich heritage,” she said.

She further added, “My stylist Ami Patel and I have been brainstorming for a few weeks. We, along with Falguni and Shane Peacock, are designing a unique saree. The idea is to bring the forgotten weaves to the fore so that the world is more aware of our rich fabrics and culture,” Indian media reported.

Last year, Kangana made her debut at Cannes Film Festival and turned heads instantly. She slayed in a retro look wearing a gorgeous black saree by Sabyasachi. She also wore a sheer Zuhair Murad gown during her red carpet debut at the prestigious film festival.

Apart from Kangana, other Bollywood actresses including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor and Deepika Padukone will also make their red carpet appearance at the 72nd edition of the festival that will be held between May 14 and May 25.
