Mehwish Hayat’s ‘Chhalawa’ trailer promises a roller-coaster ride of emotions

The official trailer of upcoming film ‘Chhalawa’, starring Mehwish Hayat and Azfar Rehman among other stars, is out and it looks quite promising, along with giving us major desi Punjabi wedding vibes.

Along with Mehwish and Azfar, film also stars Zara Noor Abbas, Asad Siddiqui, Mehmood Aslam and Aashir Wajahat. Speaking at the trailer launch yesterday, Azfar called the film a family entertainer with great music to boot.

The trailer starts with introducing Mehwish’s character as Zoya who is being pushed to marry against her will. Her actual love interest, Azfar, then arrives in her Punjabi hometown to win over her father [Mehmood Aslam].

Zara and Asad play Mehwish's sister and Azfar's friend, respectively. Apart from Mehwish, Zara and Asad’s acting brings fun element in the plot. The movie will hit theatres on Eid-ul-Fitr.
