It’s official! Katy Perry is engaged to Orlando Bloom
Katy Perry confirmed on Friday that she got engaged to Orlando Bloom on Valentine's Day, following a three-year on-and-off romance.
The couple's Instagram posts on Friday explained that they have gotten engaged and congratulatory messages started pouring in soon. They shared a similar post on their respective accounts where Katy captioned it as, “Full bloom” while Orlando wrote, “Lifetimes”.
Katy's mother Mary Hudson also shared images of the emotional proposal on Facebook, with caption, “Look who got engaged last night”.
The pair first sparked romance rumors in 2016 and people speculated their relationship even more when they appeared to be flirty at the 2016 Golden Globes after-party. They became official two months after. The couple broke up briefly in March 2017 and they rekindled things that summer.
It would be second marriage for both the celebs, as Katy was previously married to Russell Brand while Orlando was married to model Miranda Kerr.
