The death toll from Wednesday's suicide blast outside the Data Darbar shrine in Lahore rose to 12, as another injured succumbed to his injuries on Friday. The 19-year Mudassar who was a resident of Mori Gate, Lahore sustained injuries in the blast and was admitted to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The condition of other injured admitted in the hospitals are stated to be out of danger while most of the injured were discharged from Mayo-Hospital, a spokesman of the hospital said.
The government has asked the authorities concerned to extend best possible treatment facilities to the injured, the spokesman added.
