Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noorul Haq Qadri has said the incumbent PTI led government is striving hard to introduce uniform education system in the country. He was addressing to Seerat-Un-Nabi talent test awarding ceremony held in Landi Kotal jirga hall on Saturday. Besides, Assistant Commissioner Landi Kotal Muhammad Imran, Deputy Superintendent Police Swalzer Khan Afridi, PTI local leaders, elders, a large number of teachers and students participated in the simple but impressive gathering.
Representatives of Pakistan Education Foundation (PEF) College University announced 25 scholarships for the talented students of Khyber districts. Around 882 students of 28 high schools from across the Khyber district took part in the Seerat-Un-Nabi and science subjects' talent test under the banner of Teacher association, Landi Kotal and best 30 students were qualified for prize after written and oral test.
The Minister termed that the education is key to solution of every problem and parents had to motivate their children towards getting education. He urged the participants to seek knowledge pertaining Sunnah and Hadith (Sayings) of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (SAW) as it would not only benefited them in hereafter but also useful in that world.
Noor ul Haq said that the present government has planned to introduce a uniform education policy in schools and religious seminaries throughout the country with slogan of one nation, one education. The Minister maintained that PTI led government intended to equip residents of remote areas with education and therefore all missing facilities were provided to the established educational institutions in far flung areas. He assured that at the end of five years of PTI government tenure, positive change would be noticed in the merged tribal districts. Prior to it, Dr Nahidullah Shinwari welcomed the guests and apprised them of the purpose of the talent test.
