Jordan gets ten offers in 120,000 tonne barley tender

HAMBURG/DUBAI: Ten trading companies are participating in the international tender from Jordan on Wednesday to buy 120,000 tonnes of barley, traders said.

This was seen as a normal participation following several months in which global trading houses have been unwilling to take part in tenders after changes to quality and payment rules.

Participants are CHS, Glencore, Bunge, Cerealcom Dolj, Cofco Soufflet, GTCS, Olam, Ameropa and CBH, they said.

No purchase has yet been reported and results are expected later on Wednesday.
