Account-ability Court Thursday approved an application moved by Punjab Police to interrogate former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in jail in the Model Town case. Accountability Judge Muhammad Arshad Malik allowed interrogations against Sharif while hearing a plea moved by Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Muhammad Iqbal in this regard.
Prosecutor NAB Mazhar Usman opposed the application and told the court that the applicant should file the plea in relevant court. The court after hearing both the parties approved the application.
