The Sindh Assembly on Tuesday adopted unanimously a resolution to condemn the India's aggression against Pakistan and appreciated the Pakistan Air Force for its timely response to send back the intruding Indian jets from its airspace.
The resolution came jointly from the PPP, PTI, and MQM, which received support from across the house. It also vowed to defend the motherland and support the Pakistan armed forces. The house showed a unity rare against the Indian aggression. The butcher of Gujarat is plagued with war-hysteria, which will die down soon, the move said.
One of the resolution movers, PPP's Sadia Javed said the country's air force stands out with its professional feats in the world, saying the courageous pilots forced the Indian jets run away from Pakistan's airspace. The second mover of the resolution, MQM's Mangla Sharma asked the Indian government not to fall in fallacy about Pakistan's military strength and it's the capability to respond befittingly.
MMA legislator Syed Abdul Rasheed said Indian war-hysteria threatens the Line of Control, warning that the nation knows to respond such aggressions with the Jihad. "The entire nation stands by Pakistan army," he said. GDA's Nusrat Sehar Abbasi said Indian government has timid enough to fight a war against Pakistan, it can only verbally threatened the nation.
Opposition leader, Firdous Shamim Naqvi of PTI said the nation is united and fortified like an iron wall against the Indian aggression, adding that "we believe in our country and sovereignty. We will respond to the Indian aggression".
GDA's Nand Kumar said the Pakistan's Hindu community stands by the country's army and defend its motherland. "Modi is using war for polls," he said, adding that "Modi will face the consequences of war if he ever attempted to bring war to the Pakistan's doorsteps". Some four battalions of the Hur force are already part of the Pakistan army, he vowed to include more troops from his party's force to defend the country.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah of the PPP said Kashmiris' struggle for the freedom against Indian occupation, fighting with bricks and stones against the well-equipped military. He said the Pakistan army and nation's sentiments are intact to fight back Indian aggression. Murad Ali Shah of the PPP said Modi faces defeat in the continuing polls in India's many states, and that perhaps left him frustrated to resort to war.
PTI's Shabbir Qureshi said the Pakistan leadership is steadfast against any such threats to combat. India is scared of the CPEC, he said, adding that the country's war will continue against Modi and his cronies. PPP's Zulfiqar Shah asked the world community to take notice of the Indian atrocities inflicted on the unarmed innocent Kashmiris and step up efforts to help them free from the occupation. "The entire nation stands by its army," he said. Other legislators also spoke and vowed to defend the motherland at any cost. The house stands adjourned till Wednesday at 2 pm.
