Fellow teammate certain that De Villiers will be ‘received well’ by Pakistanis

Pakistan Super League (PSL) reigning champions Islamabad United’s all rounder JP Duminy has expressed delight over the inclusion of fellow Proteas teammate AB de Villiers in the fourth edition of the tournament.
“I was privileged enough to play in the PSL III final with the Islamabad United, and what an unbelievable experience it was, the turnout that we had and that not only supported Islamabad, but the final was exceptional,” said Duminy in a video message.
Talking about the arrival of cricket superstar AB de Villiers in the league, the Proteas all rounder was certain that Mr. 360 would be receive warmly by Pakistan. “It’s certainly exciting to see the likes of AB de Villiers, committing to play in Pakistan for PSL 4. He’s certainly going to have a fantastic time, and I know that he will be received very well from all the Pakistan fans, no matter who they support,” he added.

Earlier, the former Proteas captain said that the ‘time is right’ to play in Pakistan, as he planned to feature in two fixtures in the PSL in Lahore on March 9 and 10.
“I felt that I had this opportunity to maybe make an impact to help international cricket return to Pakistan,” he told the BBC World Service’s Stumped programme. “I was reluctant to go a few years back, when we were all a bit worried, but I feel the time is right to go back there…. I’m hoping to go there and have some fun and show the whole world that Pakistan is safe to travel to again.”
