An anti-terrorism court on Monday extended the judicial remand of Maulana Khadim Hussain Rizvi and five other leaders of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) till February 08 in case of launching violent protest against the acquittal of Aasia Bibi from blasphemy charge. The police produced the suspects before court under strict security arrangements after expiry of their 14-day physical remand. The investigating officer requested the court for further remand of the suspects.
The police also arrested a number of TLP workers outside the court for protesting at the arrival of the leaders.
