Three people including a woman lost their lives as roof of a two-storey house collapsed in Gilgit Colony Korangi, in the jurisdictions of Zaman Town police station. According to the neighbours, the house constructed under a mud rock was in a depilated condition. The local people launched the rescue operation on self-help basis as the incident occurred early in the morning.
Later, the police and rescue teams arrived at the scene and shifted the bodies to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) where they were identified as 55-year-old Liaquat Ali, 25-year-old Sofia and six-year-old Ayyan. The police said six people were present in the house at the time of incident however, three miraculously saved their lives.
