Five members of the same family on Sunday including three children were died after poisonous gas accumulated in their room at a neighbouring village of Abbottabad Bandi Dhondan. According to the police, head of the family Naveed went to sleep leaving a gas heater on, in the night the heater due to zero gas pressure went off, and gas returned during the late night. "Gas got filled in their room owing to erratic gas supply at night as the households were sound asleep all the while."
Neighbours of the Naveed family knocked in the morning when nobody responded then they have broken the door, entered the house and found all five family members dead. The dead were identified as Naveed Khan, wife Sadat Bibi, 7 years old Moiz Ali, 6 years old Hassan Ali and 4 years old Ahad Ali.
DSP circle Mirpur Iltaf khan reached at the spot with the police force and after legal formalities handed over the dead bodies of five family members to their relatives. Their funeral prayers were also offered in the evening where a large number of people from all walks of life participated.
