On the 6th of October 2006, Parveen Abbas gave birth to five children, and made headlines in the national media. Her three daughters and two sons were seriously under weight and went through various complications because of that. Parveen used to keep watch on her children every day at the ICU and pray for them to make it through and survive.
As a result of Parveen's prayers and the hard work of the Kharadar General Hospital's medical staff, after two weeks of nerve-wracking tension the children finally made it through and were discharged. The hospital's President Mohammad Bashir JanMohammad sent the happy family home aided with financial help and gifts.
Today by the grace of God the children are 11 years old and go to school like normal children. Parveen and Abbas consider their children as a gift from the Kharadar General Hospital and the administration as their friend & well wisher.
