Pakistan break sweat ahead of clash with South Africa

The Pakistan cricket team had a busy training session on the first day of the New Year 2019, as Sarfraz Ahmed-led squad eyes to equalize the series against South Africa in Cape Town.

With the series 1-0 in favor of the hosts, the visitors dwelled hard at Newlands, Cape Town conducting fielding practice and bowling sessions in the net.

Pakistan cricket team has not been at it best especially in the Test format. The side lost a home series against New Zealand 2-1, and lately lost to South Africa in the first Castle Lager Test after yet again witnessing a second inning batting collapse.

Pakistan and South Africa is scheduled to play the second Test at Cape Town on Thursday, January 3.
