A recent CCTV footage has been released that shows men carrying cases and bags into the home of the Saudi consul-general in Istanbul, which are believed to be containing the body parts of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

A Turkish news channel A-Haber on-aired the footage on Sunday of three men carrying bags into the home of the Saudi consul-general in Istanbul. The three men are seen carrying five suitcases and two large black bags. The home of the general is situated at a short distance from the Saudi consulate from where Khashoggi went missing on October 2 and was later believed to be murdered.

Citing unknown Turkish sources, A-Haber reported that the bags contained the dismembered parts of the journalist, international media reported. The channel added that the bags and suitcases were put into a minibus, which were then transported to the general's home.

Since the death of Khashoggi, Turkish officials believe that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman is behind the journalist's murder as there have been several breakthroughs in the investigation, nearly each one pointing at Saudi Arabia and its senior figures. However, Riyadh has refuted any such involvement of their crown prince and officials.
