Hugh Jackman, Jake Gyllenhaal pull holiday prank on Ryan Reynolds
The feud between ‘Deadpool’ Ryan Reynolds and ‘The Wolverine’ Hugh Jackman continues, and now Jake Gyllenhaal is also part of the fun.
Jackman and Gyllenhaal apparently got together and tricked Deadpool star into coming to a holiday party under the assumption it was a sweater party. Being the good sport Reynolds is, the actor shows up in his ‘finest’ sweater and, it turns out to an embarrassing moment for him.
Reynolds showed up in a red and green Christmas sweater with a giant gaudy gold bow on it. The photo Reynolds posted to his Instagram Thursday night says it all. “These f*** a**** said it was a sweater party,” Reynolds wrote in the caption.
Jackman and Gyllenhaal seemed extra-happy with themselves in the picture.
Reynolds is usually the one making the jokes. The star is known for his sarcastic sense of humor, usually on display on social media where he and wife Blake Lively regularly rib one another.
Earlier, the actor tweeted a mock political ad about Jackman on his latest movie ‘The Front Runner’, in which he portrays one-time presidential candidate Gary Hart.
