Promotion of education key to development: President

ISLAMABAD: President Dr Arfi Alvi Saturday said the achievement of the real objective of national development was possible only through promotion of education.

Addressing the 60th founding anniversary of the Federal Government Public School Karachi Cantt, the president said the provision of best education and diet were collective responsibilities of the nation, a President House statement said.

He said the teachers played an important role in the character building of the new generation.
