India’s richest man Mukesh Ambani's daughter Isha Ambani got married last night with Ajay Piramal's son Anand Piramal in a private ceremony at the Ambani residence [Antilia] in Mumbai. The festivities saw the biggest of names from the worlds of business, politics and entertainment in attendance.

The families left no stone unturned in making it an event to remember. This is one wedding that's not just got India excited but has grabbed attention across the globe.

The ceremony saw people like former President of India Pranab Mukherjee, former US First Lady Hillary Clinton and American political staffer Huma Abedin, Bollywood biggest stars Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and many others at Antilia.

According to Forbes, Mukesh Ambani’s most recent net worth was listed at $47.3 billion, which puts the whole multi-million dollar celebration thing in perspective. Isha Ambani's father-in-law, Ajay Piramal, is chairman of the Piramal Group and estimated to be worth a cool $4.2 billion, largely from pharmaceuticals.

International music sensation Beyonce too travelled all the way to India to perform at the wedding. Many other Bollywood bigwigs also entertained the guests during the pre-wedding ceremonies of Isha Ambani.
