White Oil Pipeline Mogas Project is an impressive outcome of the business philosophy pursued by PAPCO and its joint venture partners, namely, PARCO, Shell, PSO and Total PARCO Marketing Limited and blends commercial objectives with national interest. After completion of this project, the White Oil Pipeline will continue to serve the strategic and economic needs of the country for years to come.
At this stage of Pakistan's development, top priority has to be given to the present and future energy requirements of the country. Transportation of Mogas through the White Oil Pipeline will greatly augment the energy infrastructure and enhance the oil industry's ability to economically, swiftly and safely deliver energy products to the growth centers where they are most required.
Through the Project, the present capacity of White Oil Pipeline would be increased from 8.0 million tons per annum to 12 million tons per annum along with the addition of two pumping stations and improved technology to pump motor gasoline to upcountry locations in Pakistan.
The project also involves construction of new High Speed Diesel and Mogas storage tanks, off take facilities / Gantries for product delivery and Transmix Processing Facility. PAPCO and its partners deserve to be commended for undertaking a mega project of such a vital economic and strategic importance to the country.
