KARACHI: Three Ships arrived at Port Qasim on Friday 10th February 2012, ships carrying furnace oil at FOTCO, Containers at QICT and Palm oil at LCT.
Berth occupancy was maintained at 36 percent at the Port on Saturday where a total of Five ships namely M.V Falcon-II, M.V Mare Atlanticum, M.T Ginga Falcon, M.T Fair Spirit, M.V Coronado, are currently occupying berths to load/offload palm oil, containers, furnace oil, canola seed, and cement during last 24 hours.
Cargo Handling operations were carried out smoothly at the Port where a cargo volume 38704 tonnes, comprising 33552 tonnes, Imports and 5152 Exports, 792 (Tues) was handled at the Port during last 24 hours.
M.V Mare Atlanticum sailed on Saturday, sailed morning.
M.V MSC Sena at QICT, M.T Cape Rioli at EVTL, are expected to take berth on Saturday 11 February, 2012.
