Former provincial information minister Sharjeel Memon on Tuesday challenged Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar to include Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's son Hussain Nawaz's name in Exit Control List (ECL). Talking to media after the hearing of corruption reference in Accountability Court, the former minister said, "Nawaz Sharif and his family are ruling in the country."
He alleged, "Opposition leaders are being named in minor cases for no reason. My name was entered in the ECL when there was no case against me." Memon further asked Chaudhary Nisar to become guarantor or put Hussain Nawaz's name in the ECL so that he won't be able to leave the country during Panama Leaks case. He said, "National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman and Chaudhry Nisar are puppets of Nawaz Sharif as they can't move without his directives." On the other hand, Hussain Nawaz once again appeared before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) at the Federal Judicial Academy to record his statement.
