ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Human Rights Dr Shireen M. Mazari Sunday said Pakistan wanted peace and stability in whole region and steps had always been taken to resume dialogue between Pakistan and India.

Talking to private news channel, she said Prime Minister Imran Khan had already stated that if Indian government will take one step then Pakistan was ready to take two steps, but Indian Army Chief was directly threatening to Pakistan.

She said Pakistan Army was ready and prepared for any misadventure despite that we wanted peace in the region.

She said Indian Defence Minister's statement against Pakistan Army was totally violation of Geneva Convention and against law of war and all humanitarian laws.

Indian was committing grass human rights violation in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK), Line of Control (LoC) and Working Boundaries, she added.

To a question, she said Iranian Army Chief visited Pakistan and it had put positive impact on both sides. She said Pakistan was enjoying good brotherly relations with Iran and it would cooperate with Pakistan regarding visit of pilgrims to shrines at Iran.
