Philip Morris Pakistan Limited (PMPKL) an affiliate of Philip Morris International (PMI) continues to be a socially responsible organisation through the introduction of sustainability initiatives in the areas that PMPKL operates. These initiatives also cover the primary objectives of Mother Earth Day, celebrated by the United Nations and the international community on April 22nd, 2016. Such initiative undertaken by PMPKL is the installation of solar panels at its manufacturing facilities in Kotri and Sahiwal as part of PMPKL's broader sustainability strategy that envisages tackling climate change.
