KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has said that the win of PTI from Lodhran has opened the eyes of all that future of the country belongs to their party and Imran Khan will be the prime minister of Pakistan as people have become fed up of outdated politics.
Addressing certificate distribution ceremony of a religious seminary at Malang Baba Khawar in district Nowshera, he said that the provincial government is implementing its electoral commitment of bringing change in the system in letter and spirit and institutions have been reformed into large extent.
District Nazim Nowshera Liaqat Khan Khattak, Provincial Minister for Excise & Taxation Mian Jamshiduddin Kakakhel and district councillors Razeem Khan and Noor Rehman were also present on the occasion. The chief minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa said that he was never in favour of protocol and neither any road was blocked for him. He said that in future, though they will provide security to VVIPs including prime minister, but roads will not be blocked. VIP culture, he said should abolish in the country and will not any step that will hurt the people.
Congratulating Jehangir Tareen, Imran Khan and PTI workers on the triumph of the party in Lodhran, he said it is very big victory for them and it has started the new journey of change in Punjab. He said that Imran Khan is very much correct in terming the death of the 10-month old baby due to protocol sorrowful. He said that protocol is big injustice, which hurt the general public, saying since assuming the office, he has neither consider protocol and nor has wished it. He said that since first day as chief minister he is travelling sans protocol and during last two and half years no road has been closed for him for a single day and drive in normal traffic.
Pervez Khattak said that he had already issued directives to provincial administration and police for him and ministers for avoiding the closure of any road during their movement. He said that now under new directives, he is announcing that in future no road in the province will be closed during the visit of any VVIP including Prime Minister. However, they will be provided with security.
The chief minister said that during last two and half years in power, they have concentrated on the revival of institutions and through legislation they had evolved such policies that will restore the self-confidence of the poor people. He said that their government has abolished the notorious easy load culture in the province.
