The Sindh High Court (SHC) on Monday issued notices to Sindh Rangers director general, home secretary and S.S.P Jamshoro, directing them to submit their comments on the petition seeking whereabouts of two real brothers who have been missing since 10th October. The SHC bench headed by Justice Naimatullah Phulpoto took up the petition filed by the mother of missing persons who moved the court against law enforcers for illegally detaining her sons, Zubair Nazeer and Umair Nazeer.
The mother of missing persons, who are the residents of Jamshoro, reached SHC to know the whereabouts of her sons Zubair and Umair. She stated that her sons earned their livelihood in Nooriabad. She alleged that her both sons were picked up the law enforcer but they are not disclosing their arrest. The petitioner submitted that she has approached every possible level to locate the whereabouts of her missing sons but all she has availed is ignorance.
Citing DG Rangers Sindh, IGP Sindh, home secretary and SSP Jamshoro as respondents, she prayed the court to direct the respondents to produce her sons before the court and disclose the reason of their arrest. After the initial hearing, the court issued notices to Attorney General, Prosecutor General and respondents to file their comments on 19th November.
