A Shia activist Muhammad Nawaz who was an employee of Livestock Department was gunned down in village Bet Mir Hazar Khan (Jatoi) some 120km south west of Multan on Friday evening. Family sources said that Nawaz had received a phone call from unidentified caller who asked him to reach his office immediately. As soon as he came out of his home, two attackers on a motor cycle opened fire on him. He died on the spot. DPO Muzaffargarh Awais Ahmed Malik said," It might be an outcome of enmity."
