Pakistan's ambassador to Saudi Arabia Manzoor-ul-Haq on Sunday called on Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud to felicitate him on assuming the office of Governor of Riyadh. Matters relating to Pak-Saudi relations and welfare of Pakistani community living the kingdom also came under discussion at the meeting.
The Riyadh's governor on this occasion lauded the role played by more than two million Pakistanis in the development of the economies of both the countries and serving as a bridge of friendship between the people of the two countries.
He said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoyed close brotherly relations based on strong social, cultural and historical bonds. He appreciated the contribution of Pakistani community in the development of Saudi Arabia. He assured his office's full support and help in resolving problems faced by Pakistani expatriates.
