ISE index down 7.78 points

Losers outclassed gainers at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Thursday, where bearish trend has been observed at the bourse under the lead of star performers amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index was down by 7.78 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3,446.69 to 3,438.91 points. The overall turnover amounted to 1,055,000 shares as compared to previous turnover of 675,500 shares.
Total 159 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (93) closed in negative territory, 66 landed in plus column and zero company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of Lotte Chemical was 350,000 shares. The volume of Silk Bank Ltd was 300,000 shares. The volume of Bank of Punjab was 90,000 shares.
